The mission of the Delta County Economic Development Corporation (DCEDA), a countywide private/public partnership, is to:
"Lead in the promotion of economic development of Delta County through the attraction, retention, and expansion of business and industry."
The DCEDA is in the process of completing a 2012 - 2015 Strategic Plan. The strategic plan represents a comprehensive countywide economic development process with aggressive goals: to grow the economy, drive job creation and retention, and expand capital investment. The initial strategic planning process includes an EDA Board Survey, a facilitated board session and multiple executive committee meetings.
